Take a 5 minute drive to Rosses Point and walk along the beach for miles or go to Strandhill and try some surfing in the Atlantic Ocean followed by a Sea Weed bath on the Prom. Shopping is a wonderful experience with local crafts available throughout the county and at night Sligo has pubs, restaurants and clubs to keep you busy.
