Errigal Update

As you all know by now our new and improved Errigal Hostel opened its doors to the public this summer and has been exceeding our expectations ever since! It even made its television debut this month on the RTE programme Nationwide!

Errigal is a 5 star hostel with some ensuite rooms,  and some other rooms built in a mezzanine fashion which is perfect for groups or families. The hostel features all the usual characteristics of a top rated hostel including a large comfortable common room, a cozy room, restaurant, internet access, self catering kitchen and more. Energy saving devices such as wood burning stoves have been incorporated into the building.

The hostel is situated overlooking the Poisoned Glen in Dunlewey and at the foot of Errigal Mountain. This brand new hostel is definitely worth a visit for the views alone!

We have been getting some wonderful feedback from the people that have stayed here such as:

'Just a note to say my wife and I stayed in your new hostel ie Errigal on Sat and Sun nights last. Congrats on what you have produced - an excellent product. Karl and Andrea made us most welcome. We were truly GUESTS and made to feel it`s our home from home ! We will be back for more and also spreading the good news'   Brendan & Attracts Roche, Ireland, July 2007

'It is our Dream Hostel, Errigal’ Tess Towell

'We stayed last week in Errigal.  What a beautiful hostel!. We were bowled over. The Hostel looked more like a hotel than a hostel.
Facilities were great, but your greatest assets of all are the wardens Karl and Andrea and their staff.  Their hospitality, welcome, knowledge of things to do, nothing was too much to ask.  Their friendliness and welcome would be hard to find anywhere else.  They are national treasures.'
Evelyn Forde

Why not take a trip to Errigal for yourself and see what all the talk is about?!
