St Patrick’s Day 2010


March is soon upon us and with March comes one of the most popular dates in the calendar and not just in Ireland anymore!

St Patrick’s Day used to be one day out of the year where we celebrated our Irishness, now however; we have a St Patrick’s Festival which normally starts the week running up to St Patrick’s Day itself. The festival is country wide with events taking place in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Galway and all over the country. This is the 15th anniversary of the St Patrick’s Festival and with celebrations such as Street theatre, music, comedy, outdoor spectaculars, dance, visual art and more this is definitely going to be Ireland’s largest national celebration!
